Empowering the Next Generation: A Day of Advocacy in Varna!
We gathered at The Social Tea House in Varna on November 26th, 2025, for a powerful workshop dedicated to young activists. It was an action-packed day where we moved beyond theory to talk about real-world change.
The event wasn’t just a lecture—it was an invitation to turn ideas into action. We started by exploring the core differences between activism and advocacy. We defined activism as conscious action aimed at achieving social, political, economic, or environmental change. Meanwhile, we looked at advocacy as a set of targeted, strategic actions to defend rights and influence decision-makers.
The energy in the room was high, especially during our interactive sessions. We played an "activity line" game where we challenged our own perspectives on everything from the influence of social media to our personal power to affect change. It was a space where everyone’s voice…
