About the event

Youth Leadership & Self-Discovery: Our DAY Project Workshop in Paphos

On January 31, 2026, the Center for Social Innovation brought young people together at the Paphos Youth Center for an inspiring, youth-led event as part of the Digital Advocacy for Youth (DAY) Project. The goal was clear: to promote youth leadership and peer-to-peer learning by placing young people at the helm as facilitators.


Exploring Self-Perception

The workshop focused on a topic close to all our hearts: healthy body image, self-perception, and critical thinking regarding societal standards. We strategically chose Paphos for this event—not just for its facilities, but for its symbolic significance as the birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite, making it the perfect backdrop to discuss beauty and self-image.


The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) took the lead, guiding us through a two-phase experience designed to be inclusive and grounded in our lived experiences.
