Hi everyone šŸ‘‹

I’ve been reflecting a bit on my own path into youth work and it made me curious about yours.

What were your first steps into youth work? Was it something you actively planned, or did it happen more by chance – through volunteering, a project, activism, or maybe a personal experience?

I’m also really interested in when and how you first encountered advocacy. Was it face-to-face advocacyĀ (working directly with young people, communities, decision-makers), or did you start with digital advocacy – social media, campaigns, online platforms, storytelling, petitions, etc.? Or maybe a mix of both?

Looking back, do you remember a moment when you thought: ā€œOkay, this actually matters – my voice or actions can make a differenceā€?

I’d love to hear your stories, small or big. I think sharing these journeys can be really inspiring, especially for those who are just starting out in youth work or advocacy.

Looking forward to reading your experiences 😊
